Deadline for Participation
Participants are encouraged to submit their application by November 29th to guarantee being featured on our website.

In addition to Shop Small Placentia’s economic outcomes, your business will enjoy certain marketing and media exposure benefits simply by participating. Shop Small Placentia is a great way for businesses to draw in new customers, while also keeping existing customers satisfied and interested. Here are a few reasons why joining Shop Small Placentia is a good idea:

Email: Multiple announcements will go out to businesses, organizations and residents throughout Placentia and be included in the City’s CA Weekly Briefing.

Requirements – Before

If you do not meet the terms of the guidelines outlined below, you will not be eligible to participate in this year’s event. By signing below, you agree to comply with the following guidelines for participation:

Starting the week of November 18th, begin displaying Shop Small Placentia posters (you will be provided with these) in visible areas.
Distribute Shop Small Placentia advertising (postcards, flyers, graphics) to guests to inform them about the upcoming event.
Email a promotional Shop Small Placentia announcement to your email subscribers.
Post your promotion on your counter and your windows a week prior to the event to create a buzz and encourage your existing customers to come back (and bring some friends and family).

Requirements – During
1. Promote your business on social media and tag @shopsmallplacentia on Instagram.
2. Post your Shop Small Placentia promotion for ALL your customers. This will help create a buzz and referrals for other customers to come or come back.
3. Make your employees aware of your promotion during the campaign.
